This diverse group of passionate individuals included professionals from Africa, Asia and Europe and all are involved in the operation of educational and social programs focused on preventing the radicalization of youths in their communities. Present were representatives of Solidarités Jeunesses Vietnam , the Centre for Intercultural dialogue from Macedonia, University Narxoz in Kazachstan, Youth Power in Bosnia, a board member of The Kenyan Scouts Association and two representatives from Cameroon who represented both the front and back end of youth engagement programs.

The meeting began with Fernando Aguiar, head of the Research Department at the BIC,  and Kate Jackson, project manager of the Phoebus Project, presenting the research and projects in which the BIC has been engaged.

Afterwards, they welcomed questions from the visiting project participants. Fighting radicalization is a challenging and complicated issue, but after speaking to the young professionals participating in Out of the Box International's Training of Trainers program it became clear that there are some creative regional programs being implemented. It was a pleasure to meet with this group of amazing innovators and educators from Out of The Box International.
